Can I order mixed products in a single container?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the products. Because we represent multiple mills, mixing different product lines in a single container is only possible when both products come from the same supplier — or when separate suppliers' shipments can be consolidated at the port. That said, mixing different thicknesses or grades within the same product category is usually straightforward — for example, combining 12mm and 18mm plywood in one container is a common request we handle regularly. Contact our team with your specific product combination and we will advise on feasibility.

Question 3

Do you accept sample orders before a full container commitment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We supply sample packs for qualified B2B buyers — typically 2–5 panels or boards per grade, shipped via courier. Sample costs are credited against your first full order. Please submit a sample request through our inquiry form and specify which grades or species you require.

Question 4

Do you sell to individual buyers or retail customers?

Accepted Answer

No. Export Brazil Pine is exclusively a B2B supplier. We work with importers, distributors, manufacturers, and trading companies operating at container-load volumes. We do not supply small quantities, individual orders, or retail purchases. If your requirement is below one FCL, we are not the right partner for your current needs.

Is there a price difference between LCL and FCL orders?

FCL (Full Container Load) orders attract significantly better per-unit pricing due to lower handling and freight costs. We strongly recommend FCL for regular buyers. Our sales team will provide a comparative quote so you can evaluate the cost-per-unit difference for your volume.

What pine species do you use in your plywood and sawn timber?

Our primary species are Pinus elliottii and Pinus taeda, both cultivated in sustainably managed plantations, primarily in the Paraná and Santa Catarina states of southern Brazil. These species are internationally recognised for their consistent grain, strength-to-weight ratio, and workability. All material is sourced exclusively from our certified supply chain.

What glue bonds are available for your plywood?

Our plywood is produced using WBP (Weather and Boil Proof) Phenolic glue across all grades — providing full exterior-grade moisture and weather resistance. Specific bond certification is confirmed on your product data sheet and shipping documents.

Can you supply custom thicknesses or sheet sizes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, custom dimensions are available for orders above our MOQ thresholds. Common custom requests include non-standard thicknesses (e.g. 7mm, 11mm, 17mm), oversized sheets (e.g. 1525×3050mm), and tongue-and-groove machined edges. Lead times for custom production are typically 4–6 weeks from order confirmation.

What moisture content do your products ship at?

Kiln-dried products ship at ≤12% MC (appearance-grade plywood, furniture components, staircase wood, bed slats) or ≤15% MC (structural CDX, film-faced plywood). Green sawn timber ships at ≤18% MC. Moisture content is verified at our supplier partners' facilities and documented on the quality certificate included with every shipment.

Do you supply formaldehyde test certificates?

Yes. All MDF and interior-glued plywood products are tested to E0, E1, E2, or CARB P2 standards. Third-party lab certificates (typically SGS or Bureau Veritas) are available upon request and are standard documentation for our North American and European buyers. CARB P2 compliant product is clearly identified on all packing lists.

Are your products FSC certified?

FSC Chain of Custody certification is available across our plywood, MDF, and sawn timber ranges. FSC-certified product is identified on the order confirmation and accompanied by a transaction certificate (TC) for each shipment. Please specify FSC requirement at time of inquiry as it may affect pricing and lead time.

Question 12

Do your timber products comply with ISPM 15 for international shipping?

Yes. All solid wood packaging material and sawn timber products comply with ISPM 15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures). Heat-treated (HT) and marked material is standard on all exports. Phytosanitary certificates are issued by Brazilian federal authorities (MAPA) and included in all shipping documentation.

Do you provide EUDR documentation?

Yes. Export Brazil Pine provides full EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation — Regulation (EU) 2023/1115) documentation for all applicable wood and wood-derived products destined for the European market. This includes due diligence statements, geolocation data for harvest areas, and chain-of-custody traceability records demonstrating that our products are deforestation-free and legally harvested. Please advise your destination market and product requirements at time of inquiry so we can confirm the applicable documentation package.

Question 14

Can you provide CE marking documentation for the European market?

CE marking is available for our MDF (EN 622-5) and structural plywood products (EN 636) when sold into the EU/EEA. Declaration of Performance (DoP) documents are provided on request. Please advise your destination market and intended use at time of inquiry so we can confirm applicable standards and documentation.

Which ports do you ship from?

Accepted Answer

Our primary export ports are Paranaguá (PR) and Itajaí (SC) — both located close to the majority of our supplier partners' facilities in southern Brazil and among the busiest timber export ports in South America. We can also arrange shipment via São Francisco do Sul or Santos for specific routing requirements. We ship FOB or CIF.

What are your standard lead times?

For in-stock standard grades: 2–3 weeks from order confirmation to vessel loading. For custom dimensions or non-standard specifications: 4–6 weeks. Furniture collections: 45–90 days depending on the line (Nature/Rustic: 45–60 days; Crystal/Aurum: 75–90 days). All lead times are subject to current production schedules confirmed at time of order.

Question 17

Do you handle all export documentation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our export team manages the complete documentation package: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, Fumigation Certificate (where required), FSC Transaction Certificate, and any product-specific compliance documents (IBAMA, CARB, CE DoP). Documents are provided in the format required by your customs authority.

What Incoterms do you offer?

Our standard Incoterms are FOB (Free On Board) and CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight). FOB pricing is quoted from our export ports in southern Brazil; CIF pricing includes freight and insurance to your destination port. Door-to-door or DDP arrangements are not part of our standard offering. Your freight forwarder or customs broker handles import clearance and inland delivery from the destination port.

What payment terms do you offer?

Standard terms for new buyers are 30% deposit with order confirmation and 70% balance against copy Bill of Lading (T/T). For established buyers with a track record, we offer 30/70 T/T or Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight. All transactions are conducted in USD or EUR.

Do you offer long-term supply agreements?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For buyers committing to regular volume (typically 2+ containers per month), we offer annual supply agreements with fixed pricing tiers, priority production scheduling, and dedicated account management. Long-term agreements also enable us to hold allocated stock for faster call-off. Please discuss your projected volumes with our sales team.
